In Winter of 2018, while Evelyn was safely stowed in Maine, Lou and I were lucky enough to spend six months sailing in the Caribbean. We spent a few months based in and around Antigua, and a couple of months exploring the islands south of Antigua to Grenada including: Guadeloupe, Les Saintes, Martinique; St. Lucia; Bequia, Mustique, Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Petit St. Vincent and Union (St. Vincent & the Grenadines); Petite Martinique, Carriacou, and Grenada. A few brief stops on our sails north and south allowed us short visits to Bermuda, St. Johns (USVI), and the Turks & Caicos.
These photographs capture only a small taste of our experience in the Caribbean—as we traveled we found friendly faces, beautiful landscapes, delicious flavors, stunning sunsets, and a variety of vibrant cultures and traditions on each island we visited. We left with wonderful friends and memories, and look forward to visiting again.
